History

Education in Totality

This year we commemorate 70 years since the moment communists tried to liquidate all the monastic orders in Czechoslovakia. Nuns had to leave their convents and they were allocated other jobs. At first, our sisters worked in the textile factory (np Benar in Velké Březno). Later, in 1961, they were given the task of building and establishing the Institute for Children with Special Needs in Čížkovice and the children were there from the beginning. The sisters had applied themselves wholehearted to this work until 1985 when most of them retired. Despite the serious handicaps, they educated the children, enblaing them to be good and decent citizens, and grounded in their faith according to their ability to understand it. Indeed, the sisters have never given up and continue to live out our charism.

An inclusive education

This year we commemorated the beginning of the time when the Communists tried 70 years ago to suppress all religious orders from Czechoslovakia. The nuns had to leave their homes and were assigned to other work. In the beginning, our sisters worked in a textile factory (np Benar in Velké Březno). They were later commissioned to build the Institute for Mentally Sick Children in Čížkovice from 1961. However, the process also included the presence of such children. The sisters gave themselves to this task until 1985, when most of the sisters left this work. Despite the serious handicaps of these children, they educated them as ordinary people, founded in the faith which the children understood according to their possibilities. It is a fact, the sisters have never resigned, and they have continued to adhere to our charism.

Napriek vážnym handikapom deti vychovávali ako slušných ľudí so základmi viery, ktorú deti chápali podľa svojich možností. No sestry nikdy nerezignovali a zachovali si vernosť našej charizme.

Educational Mission

Our joy of the mission • Joy because we are here for others;
• Joy because our chapel is open to people from outside who want the presence of God;
• Joy of being “missionaries”, announcing the birth of the Savior on the occasion of the Christmas feasts, with the children organized within the framework of their activity: “The Good News”;
• Joy of being the daughters of Blessed Alix Le Clerc
- to help children and young people grow up - in school and then in the preparation of the Sacraments and various events;
- for old people -
- to find and share the love of Jesus who chose us.

Naša radosť z výchovného poslania
 radosť z toho, že sme tu pre iných;
 kaplnku v dome máme otvorenú aj pre ľudí zvonku, ktorí prichádzajú k Pánovi;
 radosť byť „misionármi“ - koledovanie rodinám počas vianočných sviatkov - „Dobrá novina“;
 radosť z toho, že ako dcéry bl. Alexie Le Clerc môžeme pomáhať rásť deťom, mládeži - v škole, pri príprave sviatostí, pri rôznych podujatiach a aj starým ľuďom - nachádzať a rozdávať lásku Ježiša, ktorývolilís;
